Our Doin’ Time Mare is due to foal any day now. She’s bagged up and dropped. Gave her a nice grooming with some a warm water wash. She’s ready to go!

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010Good Start to the New Year
Monday, February 15th, 2010Stone Creek Stables is off to a good start for 2010! Sorry I havent had my website updated lately, but we have been so busy with horses and the cold, snow, rain and muddy weather.
We have started 6 young horses in the last 30 days. It seems folks are starting to look at horse to purchase now. We have sold 4 this weekend.
We have 8 trail geldings that are being tuned up and have 3 yearlings left. Our last baby will be weaned in a month and we will offer him for sale as well. Please watch are site for the updates. I will try to get them up later this week. Gail

I received this post on Tennessee Trail Riders this morning from Brooke Burgess! Brooke has a Champion Sport Horse….2009 and her horse needed some training. She brought her to me right after the Sport Horse Championship. Brooke asked me to teach her to “PARK OUT” from the ground and in the saddle, we accomplished both but this mare is fired up (hence Champion Sport Horse) and would not stand still to be mounted in the saddle (Brooked always had to tie her, get on and then unsnap the lead). This was a difficult problem as she needed to stand still to park out on the ground to get up in the saddle. She also wanted to “rush” ahead of you when leading. I had her mare for 30 days and we accomplished alot without taking away the fire she needs for the show ring!
At 4:53pm on December 5, 2009, Brooke Burgess said… Hello Gail I am now a member of tennessee trail riders, my buckskin was happy to be home, To ANYONE looking for a great trainer, consider Gail!! She did a great job with my mare and I am very PLEASED with her..thanks Gail!!!
