I have posted our New Years Eve pictures of our trail ride at Circle E. Ive discovered when viewing the pictures you can go back to the thumbnails by clicking on the picture if you are not viewing them in piclens but rather right from the blog. Hold your mouse over the picture and the instructions come up. Wow.
We were invited to Gordon View Farm, home of Marty and Lori Gordon to have horses “freeze branded”. I have posted the pictures of this event under Horses For Sale . We had Kat, Sunny and Wolf branded. It did not bother the horses at all to have this done. I did not see one horse flinch, fight, get scared or even move. Very interesting and I cannot wait to see the finished product when the hair grows back in about 2 months.

Dale went turkey hunting this morning and this is the end result. Turkey at the barn tomorrow night! Yippie!!!!!

Just wanted to thank you folks at Stone Creek Stables for a great time! Who would have thought you could have me riding a horse in minutes. Sure I have 430 horses under the hood of my big truck, but to actually rein one in…unbelieveable!
I hope everyone enjoyed the beer can chicken and mango baked beans I made. We need to do this again this summer! You bring the horses and I’ll bring the food! Now if we could only get someone to bring the band…maybe y’all could teach me how to 2-step too!
