Pocohantas and Robby Wild Desert Rose is registered with the Spotted Saddle Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association. Rose is a 10 year old mare foaled on April 2, 2001.  She is by On The Wild Side Again who is by Spotted Allen Again, and her dam is First Choice Whiskey who was by Whiskey’s Shaker.  I remember the day Rosie was born.  Her mother....Whistle, was walking in circles and she put me to sleep and I missed the whole birth.  Rose has had 5 colts, 2 fillies and 3 colts,  I’m Just A Little Bit Blue, Nemo, Desert Wolf, Pocohantas and her current black and white colt that we have not named yet.  Rose is in foal now to Jailhouse Caper.  She is an excellent brood mare and my friend. Rose is the kind of mare that I can call out too and where ever she is she will come to see what I want, even if she is on the back 40!   She watches all the babies and keeps everyone in line.  We have kept here in a stall this winter because of the terrible winter we are having and she is a clean mare.  Keeps her house nice and tidy.  Rose is a big mare...15 3 - 16 hands tall.  She was broke to ride back when she was a 2 year old and I rode her a few times and then she became  a mom!  She has never had a solid baby....She has been bred to Pusher’s Little Boy Blue 2X, Got Rox Wolfman, Fine Art and Jailhouse Caper 2x’s.
